We built Homestay Field to be a peaceful escape right in the middle of the beautiful Thôn Châng countryside. Whether you choose one of our cozy double rooms with a view of the mountains or prefer your own private garden bungalow, you will have a quiet, clean space to unwind. We have made sure all the comforts are covered – like air-conditioning, private bathrooms, balconies, and reliable free WiFi—so you can completely relax after a long day on the road.
Our place is all about slowing down and enjoying the surroundings. You can take in the fresh mountain air from the sun terrace, walk through the gardens, or grab a drink at our small on-site bar. We also have free private parking, and an outdoor fireplace that is perfect for sitting around under the stars in the evening.

About our Family
We are a local Tày family, and when you stay with us, you are treated like part of the family from the moment you arrive. Hiếm and Khanh run the homestay, and we love nothing more than sharing our culture, home-cooked food, and favorite hidden spots around Hà Giang. We can help you organize everything from your bus ride out of Hà Nội to renting a reliable motorbike or pairing you up with a safe, experienced driver for an unforgettable loop tour.
Gathering around the table is a huge part of life here. Every morning, we cook up a fresh breakfast to get your day started right – featuring everything from local Tày specialties and noodle dishes to pancakes, fresh fruit, and vegetarian or vegan options. In the evenings, we invite all our guests to sit down with our family for a traditional, home-cooked Vietnamese dinner. It’s our favorite time of day to share stories, laugh, and give you a genuine taste of Tày hospitality.

The room was nice, clean, and cool.
We also booked a motorbike tour of the Ha Giang loop with them. Everything was very well organized; we had private rooms, and they provided a great motorbike.

The bungalow is very cozy and has everything you need.
We also booked our 4 days 3 night Ha Giang Loop with Hiém and everything was perfect! We had a small group of ten people, we stayed every night in a private double room with private bathroom. Hiém was 24/7 available in her phone in case something was not right. But everything was excellent.

Our two nights at Hiem and Khan Homestay were warm, cozy, and truly memorable. The room was beautiful, with stunning mountain views, everything was very clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the dinners were amazing.
What made this experience so special was how personal and authentic it felt. We didn’t felt like tourists for a moment — we felt welcomed almost like family.
The three days we spent riding through the mountains with Khan and Hieu were unforgettable. Beyond the breathtaking landscapes, we will remember the people, the laughter, the conversations, and the genuine care they put into every moment.
Thank you for the beautiful memories and for sharing your culture with so much heart. It was definitely a big highlight of our journey in Vietnam and made us want to come back to see you !

We booked a 4-day/3-night adventure with two friends and did the loop as a group of just four, without requesting a private group (though the groups are limited to 8 people).
The drivers were incredible, very attentive, and always smiling and available. Impeccable driving.
The evenings were great fun (very nice private rooms each night, happy hour, and karaoke with the drivers).
Upon arrival and departure, the homestay staff were very welcoming, even letting us rest in a room while waiting for our bus to leave.

We are so glad we chose homestay field. From the moment I made the enquiry Hiem replied swiftly with all the details and answered any questions I had.
She booked our travel to Ha Giang from Hanoi and was there to meet us when we got dropped off the bus. No money changed hands until we started the tour. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Hiem and Khanh and was invited to join them for dinner with all their family.
Hiem was a fabulous cook and this really was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam so far. They made us feel so welcome.
We started the loop the next day with Khanh and can honestly say it was a magical trip from start to finish, a once in a lifetime experience. The scenery is stunning, there were plenty of stops along the way and the price included great homestays, breakfast, full Vietnamese lunch and dinner topped up with copious amounts of happy water.
When we arrived back Hiem organised our onward travel to Cat Ba, we were able to shower and we even joined the family again for dinner before we departed.
Would highly recommend.
